Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located less than five minutes from St Mark's, making it perfect for enjoying the essence of Venice. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, featuring authentic ceiling beams and traditional Venetian decor, but a slight downside was the unusual aroma reminiscent of a non-smoking hotel. The prime location allowed easy access to iconic Venice spots and numerous dining options. However, the dining experience, while offering the basics, lacked variety and quality. Overall, a great value for immersing oneself in the special atmosphere of Venice.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a quaint Venetian style but were let down by dated furnishing and some maintenance issues. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional, with Martina and her colleague going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The location was truly unbeatable for exploring Venice, although the dining options left something to be desired.
I was impressed by the luxurious look of the rooms, especially the comfortable beds and spacious bathroom, but the strong smell of cat urine was a major downside that even lingered on my belongings after leaving. The shared facilities were convenient, although having just a little kettle was a bit limiting.
The hotel had beautifully appointed, comfortable rooms but suffered from bad soundproofing. The genial and helpful service made our stay pleasurable, with Martina and her colleague going above and beyond. The location was vital for soaking up the unique atmosphere of Venice. The dining options were good but not ideal for vegetarians. The facilities were well-maintained and offered a variety of services.
The hotel exudes genuine Venetian beauty in its stylish traditional design, adorned with exquisite Murano glass chandeliers and luxurious marble details. The rooms are fresh-looking, avoiding any kitsch, yet the poor lighting is a drawback. The service was pleasant, with helpful staff recommending local spots, while the dining experience, although fancy with a range of choices, could use more variety. The location is central and convenient, placing both Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge within a few minutes' walk.
I stayed on the 3rd floor without an elevator, and while the rooms weren't very spacious, the hotel's location and service made my stay enjoyable. The cold atmosphere was a minor downside, but the helpful staff, especially Martina and her colleague, were a great support throughout my stay.
